— CYBER INSURANCE READINESS

Get your IT ready for your cyber insurance application

Insurers now ask detailed questions about multi-factor sign-in, backups and endpoint protection before they’ll write or renew a policy. We put those security controls in place, document them, and help you answer the IT questions accurately.

THREE LAYERS OF PROTECTION IN EVERY MANAGED SEAT

— SOUND FAMILIAR?

Why cyber insurance applications get stuck

01

The questionnaire is full of IT terms

MFA, EDR, immutable backups, privileged access. If you’re not sure what they mean, it’s hard to answer accurately, and a wrong answer can cause problems if you ever need to file a claim.

02

Your premium went up, or coverage got harder

Insurers price and approve policies based on the security controls you have in place. Missing controls can mean higher premiums, exclusions or a declined application.

03

Nobody owns the IT answers

Your agent handles the policy but can’t tell you how your network is set up. Someone who actually knows your systems needs to answer those questions.

— THE CONTROLS INSURERS ASK ABOUT

We put the common requirements in place

✓  Multi-factor sign-in on email and remote access

✓  Endpoint detection and response (EDR) on every computer

✓  Backups that are separate, tested and recoverable

✓  Email filtering and security awareness training

✓  Patching, admin access control and 24/7 monitoring

We’re an IT provider, not an insurance agent. We don’t sell policies or guarantee coverage or pricing, but we’re glad to work with your agent on the technology side.

Common questions about cyber insurance and IT

Can you fill out our cyber insurance application?

We’ll help you answer the IT and security questions accurately, based on what’s actually in place, and point out anything worth fixing first. You review and sign the application, and your insurance agent handles the policy itself.

Have another question? Call 865‑332‑0008.

Will this guarantee coverage or a lower premium?

No one can promise that. The insurer makes those decisions. What we can do is put the security controls most insurers ask about in place and document them, which puts you in a stronger position when you apply or renew.

We already have an IT person. Can you still help?

Yes. We can work alongside your in-house IT person or current provider to fill specific gaps, like multi-factor sign-in, endpoint protection or backups, without replacing anyone.

Not sure where you stand? Start with a free security check

We’ll review your firewall, backups, email security, multi-factor sign-in and endpoint protection, and show you which common insurance requirements you already meet.
